SEO AEO+GEO development Intern

About the Role

Renergy Technologies is hiring a full-time, remote intern in India to improve renergytech.com's visibility in Google search results and AI answers. This is a performance-driven role for self-starters.

Key Responsibilities

• Research page content by analyzing Reddit threads, Google's "People also ask" boxes, technician forums, and manufacturer manuals to understand user intent.
• Draft website pages using AI tools within the company's content system, creating one structured file per page.
• Review all pages before publication, verifying figures against sources, correcting AI inaccuracies, and ensuring content is technically sound from a refrigeration technician's perspective.
• Optimize pages for answer engines (AEO and GEO) by implementing direct answers, FAQ blocks, structured data, and internal links.
• Track performance metrics in Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4), including impressions, clicks, positions, and AI answer citations for Renergy and competitors.
• Conduct small experiments (e.g., testing new titles, FAQ formats, internal links) with defined hypotheses, metrics, and written results.
• Submit short reports twice weekly detailing shipped content, performance changes, and planned next steps.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Self-starter mentality: Ability to take a brief, ask clarifying questions early, and deliver results independently.
• Basic refrigeration knowledge: Understanding of the refrigeration cycle (compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator) and defrost cycles.
• SEO basics: Familiarity with search intent, keyword mapping, page structure, structured data, and how AI answer engines select sources.
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console.
• Proficiency in clear, plain English for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Daily use and understanding of the limitations of AI tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, or Ubersuggest.
• Comfort editing JSON or HTML and running Python scripts.
• Coursework or internship experience in HVAC or refrigeration.
• Experience writing for technical or business audiences.

Stipend and Logistics

• Dates: Full-time, from as soon as possible to December 2026.
• Stipend: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month.
• Location: Remote, from anywhere in India.
• Hours: A few hours of evening overlap (IST) per week for calls with the Toronto-based team.
