About the Role

A full-time, on-site role for a Junior Production Engineer specializing in ASB machines at Sibi Polyplast Pvt. Ltd. in Coimbatore. The role focuses on ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing of plastic products by monitoring and operating ASB machines on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate ASB machines on the production floor.
• Support production planning.
• Coordinate with supervisors and operators to meet daily targets.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine issues.
• Perform basic maintenance checks.
• Oversee quality checks during production.
• Document shift-wise reports.
• Follow safety and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with the quality and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve process efficiency.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience or strong interest in ASB or similar molding machines.
• Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify issues, and suggest improvements.
• Skills in Production Planning, including understanding workflows, scheduling, and resource utilization.
• Quality Control Skills, with attention to product specifications, defect prevention, and process compliance.
• Strong Communication Skills to coordinate with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in shifts is beneficial.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow standard operating procedures, and work collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Plastics Engineering (or related field) is preferred.
