About the Role

RailRoute is a travel technology company focused on building smarter ways to navigate India’s railway network. The Independent Affiliate role is a remote, contract position focused on promoting RailRoute’s platform and driving user growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential users or partners.
• Share product information through digital channels.
• Educate audiences on how RailRoute can help them navigate India’s railway network more effectively.
• Track performance metrics for outreach.
• Optimize campaigns based on results.
• Provide feedback on user needs and market trends.
• Collaborate with RailRoute’s team for guidance on messaging.
• Comply with brand and ethical standards.
• Maintain transparent reporting on activities and outcomes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Comfort using online tools, social media, and basic analytics to plan, execute, and evaluate promotional activities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technology solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience in affiliate marketing, digital promotion, or community outreach, ideally within travel, technology, or consumer platforms.
• Good understanding of or interest in India’s railway system and traveler needs, with the ability to identify practical use cases for RailRoute.
• Self-motivated and organized, able to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple initiatives as a contractor.
• Ethical approach to promotion, with respect for user privacy and transparent communication about affiliate relationships.
• Prior experience in sales, business development, content creation, or influencer marketing is an advantage but not mandatory.
