Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidating and analyzing financial data, considering financial standing.
• Providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
• Assembling and summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
• Developing financial models, conducting benchmarking, and process analysis.
• Reconciling transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Leading annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning, performing scenario analysis to assist senior management in strategic decision-making.
• Monitoring financial performance by preparing monthly/weekly Management Information Systems (MIS) and dashboards, analyzing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, and conducting variance analysis against budgets/forecasts.
• Collaborating with business units (e.g., Credit, Collections, Operations) to track KPIs, provide financial insights, and recommend actions for improvement or cost reduction.
• Conducting revenue and Non-Performing Assets (NPA) analysis, highlighting trends and identifying drivers.
• Assisting with cash flow management, liquidity monitoring, and investment analysis.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.

Qualifications

• CA or equivalent degree in Finance, Economics.
• Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
• Well-informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, and business environments.
