Interior Designer

About the Role

The Interior Designer will work on-site in Bengaluru and be responsible for planning, designing, and executing interior layouts for residential and commercial spaces aligned with client requirements and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand functional and aesthetic needs.
• Prepare design concepts, mood boards, and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate furniture, modular kitchen layouts, and finishes with internal teams.
• Conduct site visits to assess spaces and take measurements.
• Supervise installation quality and ensure designs are implemented accurately and within timelines.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, technicians, and vendors to optimize layouts for last-mile delivery, installation, and future maintenance.
• Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders.
• Document design changes.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Space planning, interior layout design, and furniture design skills.
• Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).
• Basic technical drawing and 3D visualization skills.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, modular furniture systems, and modular kitchen design, including suitability, durability, and cost considerations.
• Project coordination and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, manage site execution, and work with cross-functional teams.
• Effective client communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with on-site installation processes, basic civil and electrical considerations for interiors, and safety standards will be beneficial.
• An eye for detail.
• Willingness to work on-site.
• Flexibility to visit multiple locations within Bengaluru as needed.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in residential, commercial, or furniture-related projects is preferred.
