About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assay Laboratory Technician at our Carlin Analytical Lab.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation of ore samples, process samples, and exploration samples.
- The technician will also be utilized in fire assay, wet laboratory, and operation of analytical instrumentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Six (6) months experience in an analytical laboratory preferred.
- Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred.
- Knowledge of computer operation required.
- Exemplary safety and attendance record required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without reasonable accommodations required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment required.
- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
