About the Role

Seeking Controls Engineers for several permanent positions in the Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon, and Kalamazoo areas. These roles involve exciting projects in the controls automation industry for reputable and growing companies. Opportunities range from entry-level to Lead Controls and Engineering Manager roles. Most jobs require minimal travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide electrical solutions for automation, process, assembly, or material handling equipment.
• Design and program PLC and HMI software to meet requirements.
• Programming, troubleshooting, and modifying automation machines, robotics, and vision systems.
• Assist with start-up and technical support.
• Project Engineer comprehensive systems from start to finish.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience programming PLCs and HMIs.
• Allen Bradley and Siemens experience preferred.
• Experience with programming and integrating robotics, vision systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus.
• SCADA, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical experience also a plus.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree or Associate's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience.

Compensation Range: $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 / year depending on experience level.
