About the Role
84 Lumber is hiring a full-time Door Shop Manufacturer in Meridian, ID. This role acts as a production/warehouse associate and assembler on a pre-hanging door assembly line.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on a pre-hanging door assembly line.
- Routinely maintain equipment on the warehouse assembly line.
- Act as a machine operator, utilizing power saws, air nail guns, staplers, and other tools to prep wood material for door assembly.
- Perform forklift training, certification, and operation.
- Load, unload, store, and package production material from the warehouse.
- Monitor quality assurance throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe all posted safety rules.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information to others one-on-one.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
- Must authorize a background check.
- Must pass urinalysis drug screening.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM
