About the Role

ES Solar is seeking a full-time, on-site Salesperson to join their team in Layton, UT. This role involves engaging with prospective residential and commercial clients to explain solar and battery solutions and guide them through the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify leads and conduct in-person consultations.
• Explain solar and battery solutions to customers.
• Prepare tailored proposals.
• Follow up consistently to close opportunities.
• Collaborate with design and installation teams for accurate project scoping.
• Maintain detailed records in the CRM.
• Represent ES Solar professionally at local events and customer meetings.
• Meet or exceed sales targets.
• Provide honest, clear information to support long-term customer relationships.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Consultative sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of solar energy, batteries, and electrical systems, or willingness to learn.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience using CRM or sales tracking tools.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work on-site in Layton, UT.
• Ability to visit customer locations.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional education in business, sales, or related fields is a plus.
• Prior experience in solar, home improvement, or related industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
