Graduate Mechanical Engineering Trainee

About the Role

The Graduate Engineering Trainee will support the design, manufacturing, and testing of specialized material handling and ground support equipment in an industrial environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai, offering hands-on exposure to end-to-end engineering and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with mechanical and manufacturing engineering tasks.
• Prepare and update technical documentation.
• Participate in project planning and execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and supply chain.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Perform data collection and analysis to enhance efficiency and product performance.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, with knowledge of basic design principles and production processes.
• Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret technical data, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement activities.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, document work clearly, and present findings.
• Basic Project Management abilities to assist in planning tasks, tracking progress, and meeting timelines.
• Ability to learn quickly, work in a structured manufacturing environment, and adapt to evolving project and business needs.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and engineering software, and an understanding of industrial safety and quality standards is an advantage.
