About the Role
MYEYZ is India’s first dedicated home eye care service. This is a full-time Optometrist role providing comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments for patients in an on-site setting in Delhi.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct refraction tests.
- Diagnose vision problems.
- Prescribe corrective lenses.
- Advise on appropriate eyewear and eye care solutions.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Use diagnostic equipment safely.
- Follow standardized clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with the broader healthcare team.
- Assist in patient education about eye health and preventive measures.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Optometric diagnostic equipment such as autorefractors, slit lamps, and visual acuity charts.
Qualifications
- Formal qualification in Optometry (Bachelor’s or Diploma in Optometry) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration as required by local regulations.
- Strong clinical skills in refraction, vision testing, contact lens fitting, and basic diagnosis of common ocular conditions.
- Ability to use and maintain optometric diagnostic equipment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory, and patient-centered care, with a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare staff and adapt to structured workflows.
- Prior experience in community, retail, or home-based eye care services is an advantage.
- Proficiency in local languages and basic computer skills are beneficial.
