About the Role

The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. It is responsible for the overall strategic direction, governance, and performance of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee key operational decisions.
• Set and monitor long-term goals.
• Ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and subject-matter experts.
• Approve major projects and budgets.
• Supervise high-level partnerships with external stakeholders (e.g., government agencies, industry, academic institutions).
• Guide policy development, risk management, and resource allocation to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
• Review institutional performance reports.
• Meet with internal teams and partners.
• Foster a culture of ethical conduct, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with experience guiding complex organizations or initiatives.
• Proficiency in organizational governance, budgeting, and high-level decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and build collaborative partnerships.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance relevant to research and infrastructure organizations.
• Commitment to ethical leadership, inclusive practices, and long-term institutional sustainability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in research, engineering, public policy, or a related field is highly beneficial.
