About the Role

Bain & Company is a global consultancy that helps the world’s most ambitious change makers define the future. The Bain Capability Network (BCN) was established in 2004 and is an expert client delivery (ECD) team at Bain & Company. BCN collaborates closely with global leadership and clients, offering expertise across various industries and capabilities.

This role is for the PG Batch of 2027 from the NMIMS Mumbai campus.

Associates play a senior team member role on BCN cases, leading simple cases independently and driving the analysis on more complicated cases with significant direction from a Project Leader. They act as the primary point of contact for Bain case teams from any global office, provide feedback and coach Analysts, and interact with clients across levels and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead simple cases independently and drive analysis on more complicated cases with direction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Bain case teams from any global office.
• Provide feedback and coach Analysts on task execution.
• Interact with clients across levels and geography.
• Be proficient with sound business logic and able to structure approaches/presentations for adding value in complex business analysis.
• Quickly grasp different client businesses and perform research/analysis across all geographies and industries.
• Prepare an action plan for clients to implement strategic solutions and manage its execution.
• Provide solid business judgment to derive answers in situations where data is not easily available or explicitly published.
• May have first-level team management responsibility, which generally involves conducting performance discussions/appraisals, allocating, and reviewing work for a small team of analysts.
