About the Role

Renergy Technologies is hiring a full-time, remote intern in India to improve renergytech.com's visibility in Google and in AI answers (SEO, AEO, and GEO). The internship starts as soon as possible and runs to December 2026. This is a performance-driven role for self-starters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching real questions behind pages by analyzing Reddit threads, Google's "People also ask" boxes, technician forums, and manufacturer manuals.
  • Drafting pages using AI tools within the content system, writing one structured file per page.
  • Reviewing and checking every page before it goes live, verifying figures, correcting AI errors, and flagging any issues a refrigeration technician would object to.
  • Shaping pages for answer engines (AEO and GEO) by including direct answers, FAQ blocks, structured data, and internal links.
  • Tracking results in Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4), monitoring impressions, clicks, positions, and AI answer citations.
  • Running small experiments (e.g., new titles, FAQ formats, internal links) with defined hypotheses, metrics, and written results.
  • Sending short reports twice per week detailing shipped content, performance changes, and planned experiments.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Self-starter mentality: ability to take a brief, ask questions early, and deliver without constant follow-up.
  • Basic refrigeration knowledge: understanding of the refrigeration cycle (compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator) and defrost cycles.
  • SEO basics: search intent, keyword mapping, page structure, structured data, and understanding of how AI answer engines select sources.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console.
  • Experience running at least one data-driven experiment, with the ability to articulate changes, measurements, and learnings.
  • Clear, plain English communication skills: ability to explain technical problems concisely.
  • Daily use of AI tools and awareness of their limitations.

Qualifications

  • You are a self-starter. You take a brief, ask your questions early, and deliver without being chased.
  • Basic refrigeration knowledge. You can explain the refrigeration cycle (compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator) and what a defrost cycle does. Mechanical engineering students who have taken a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning course fit well.
  • SEO basics: search intent, keyword mapping, page structure and structured data, plus a working idea of how AI answer engines choose their sources.
  • Hands-on Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console. You have run at least one data-driven experiment, even a small one, and can say what you changed, what you measured and what you learned.
  • Clear, plain English. You can explain a technical problem to a restaurant owner in short sentences.
  • You use AI tools every day and know where they go wrong.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, or Ubersuggest analysis.
  • Comfort with editing JSON or HTML and running a Python script.
  • Coursework or internship in HVAC or refrigeration.
  • Experience writing for a technical or business audience.

Stipend and Logistics

  • Dates: Full-time, from as soon as possible to December 2026.
  • Stipend: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month, depending on assignment.
  • Location: Remote, from anywhere in India.
  • Hours: A few hours of evening overlap (IST) each week for calls with Toronto.
  • Team: Work directly with the founder.
