About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Articleship role based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory and internal audits, including walkthroughs, vouching, verification of records, and preparation of working papers.
• Support accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Assist in direct and indirect tax compliance, such as return preparation, documentation, and basic tax calculations.
• Work on assignments related to management reporting and regulatory filings.
• Support senior team members in financial and business advisory engagements.
• Maintain organized documentation.
• Follow firm methodologies and adhere to professional standards.
• Learn and apply relevant accounting, auditing, and taxation practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Comfortable working with MS Excel, Word, and accounting or ERP software.
• Exposure to tax filing utilities is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible to register as an Articleship trainee under ICAI.
• Strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation concepts.
• Skills in financial accounting, ledger maintenance, and basic financial statement preparation.
• Familiarity with audit procedures, documentation practices, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Capability to interpret financial data.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Professionalism, integrity, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
• Completion of CA Intermediate (one or both groups) or equivalent academic background in commerce or finance is preferred.
