About the Role
As a Summer 2027 TS/MS Intern with Elanco Animal Health, you will be part of the Animal Health Manufacturing (AHM) Lab team at our Fort Dodge, Iowa manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the Animal Health Manufacturing process, document using GMP guidelines, and understand the importance of the Quality Unit.
- Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or Quality Control lab improvements.
- Learn about quality control, fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or companion animal packaging.
- Study design improvement processes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Education: Currently enrolled in an Engineering major including (but not limited to) Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process.
- Top Skills: Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision.
Additional Information
- Location: Fort Dodge Manufacturing Plant, Fort Dodge, IA.
- Travel: 10% - to corporate facility in Indianapolis, IN for opening/closing.
- Internship Dates: May 17th – August 6th, 2027.
- Salary: $20-$40/hour (dependent upon major and year in school).
