About the Role
The Electrical Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical activities at the project site.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing electrical wiring and installation work.
- Assigning tasks to electricians and helpers.
- Monitoring progress.
- Ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Inspecting electrical systems.
- Identifying and resolving issues.
- Coordinating with project engineers, site managers, and contractors.
- Verifying that materials and tools are available and properly used.
- Maintaining documentation of work completed.
- Supporting quality checks and testing.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity.
- Practical experience working with electrical systems.
- Skills in electrical contracting, including planning, coordinating, and supervising electrical work on construction projects.
- Competencies in electrical engineering principles relevant to building services and site installations.
- Hands-on expertise in electrical wiring, installation, and commissioning of fixtures, panels, and equipment.
- Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults and performance issues on site.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, safety standards, and technical documentation.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Adherence to electrical codes.
- Willingness to work on-site in dynamic project conditions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant trade certifications.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role on construction sites.
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
