About the Role
- Entry-level Electrical Engineer I role.
- Work independently using basic knowledge from core college courses.
- Projects focus on engineering design for nuclear products, electrical system design, and instrumentation and controls design.
- Develop engineering design documents including calculations and specifications.
- Report to the Manager, Electrical Engineering.
- Located at the Rock Hill, SC facility.
- Hybrid work arrangement with remote flexibility and regular on-site collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical system engineering design.
- Provide instrumentation and controls (I&C) designs.
- Provide electrical system wiring.
- Use standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for the development of electrical engineering design documents, including calculations and specifications.
- Use software packages such as Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice, or equivalent.
- Learn new software packages.
- Work with teams to obtain necessary information and knowledge transfer.
- Plan and schedule work to meet requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Willing to travel to client sites, as needed.
