About the Role

The Cashier at Roger Dunn Golf Shops is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy. This philosophy emphasizes putting the customer first and ensuring a memorable and positive customer experience. The Cashier is also responsible for all customer transactions, ensuring guest satisfaction at the service desk, and proper control of all cash and media materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service, understanding that the customer’s last shopping experience phase is with the cashier.
• Process information and merchandise through the computer and POS register system.
• Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.
• Ability to access all areas of the store, including sales floor, stock area, and register area, by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and climbing a ladder.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Experience in a retail or golf environment is a plus.
• General golf knowledge/background is a plus, but not required.

Hourly Rate: $18.42 per hour. Individual starting rate may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
