Business Development & Relationship Manager

About the Role

Rent Bonus Inc. is a housing rental marketplace focused on simplifying the rental experience and creating value for property owners and renters through referral bonuses and cash incentives. The company aims to grow its network of partners and residents.

Location: Eugene / Springfield, OR

Position: Part-time

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and sign apartment communities and property management companies across Eugene & Springfield.
• Present Rent Bonus, negotiate terms, and guide new properties through onboarding.
• Serve as the main point of contact for accounts, with monthly check-ins and responsive communication.
• Keep partners active and happy on the platform, and feed customer insights back to the founding team.
• Help identify the next markets for expansion.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Business development, sales, and partnership management skills.
• Customer relationship management and account management skills.
• Experience using CRM software and maintaining organized pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Self-starter comfortable working independently and setting priorities.
• Ability to build genuine, lasting professional relationships.
• Organized about tracking leads and conversations.

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate, property management, housing marketplaces, or related industries is preferred but not required.
• Bonus: experience in property management, leasing, multifamily, or B2B sales.

Compensation

• Base: $16/hour for 10 hours a week.
• Commission: $25 for every qualifying tenant move-in at properties signed.
• Deals founders help close pay $12.50 per move-in.
• Commissions recur, building ongoing income with each property signed.
