Contract: 12+ months

Pay Rate: $25.71/hour (W-2)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Job Summary

Seeking an entry-level Chemist I to support laboratory manufacturing and reagent formulation. This role involves preparing and testing reagents, antibodies, calibrators, and controls while following established laboratory procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Recent graduates with laboratory experience are encouraged to apply. GMP training may be provided on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare antibody solutions, reagents, calibrators, and controls.
• Perform analytical testing and evaluate laboratory results.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines.
• Maintain accurate batch records, laboratory notebooks, and documentation.
• Monitor laboratory temperatures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related science field.
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• GMP, batch record, SOP, or medical device industry experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
