Process Engineer 1

About the Role

• This is an entry-level Process Engineer role at DENSO in North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead new product launches.
• Develop manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Manage project costs and schedules.
• Implement new technologies to support production.
• Assume the project lead role in the implementation of new products from the quotation stage to implementation through the management of the APQP process.
• Develop and maintain project budgets for new product implementation.
• Develop jigs and machinery for new products, utilizing CAD or outside resources to ensure customer schedules are met.
• Investigate and develop new technologies for implementation into production.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Office Programs - MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated competency in working with computer software and mainframe applications to manipulate, analyze, and reconcile data.
• Working knowledge in CAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, industrial, or other related engineering discipline.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Good written, verbal, and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with an ability to approach every business relationship as a partnership.
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to independently evaluate and develop innovative solutions to complex situations, applying knowledge of specialty area and use of sound judgment.
• Ability to resolve difficult or complicated situations.
• Kaizen mindset.
• Ability to effectively apply the PDCA process.
