About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Kalyan.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, binocular vision assessment, and contact lens evaluation.
• Assist in pre- and post-operative care for laser and other ophthalmic procedures.
• Document clinical findings accurately.
• Counsel patients on eye health and vision correction options.
• Coordinate care with ophthalmologists and other clinical staff.
• Maintain equipment hygiene.
• Comply with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Contribute to patient education to support better long-term eye health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree or diploma in Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Strong clinical skills in refraction, contact lens fitting, and basic ocular health assessment.
• Effective communication and patient counseling skills, with an emphasis on clear, respectful interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and follow established clinical protocols.
• Basic computer literacy for electronic medical records.
• Familiarity with common diagnostic equipment.
• Relevant experience in a clinical or hospital-based eye care setting is beneficial.
• Fresh graduates with strong clinical training are also encouraged to apply.
• Attention to detail, ethical clinical practice, and a commitment to continual learning and professional development.
