The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, preparing drawings, and assisting with project coordination for interior design projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to space planning layouts.
- Prepare and update construction drawings.
- Assist with material and FF&E selections.
- Organize project documentation.
- Collaborate with senior designers.
- Attend site visits.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
- Ensure design intent is maintained through project execution.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Interior Design skills
- Space Planning skills
- Foundational Architecture knowledge
- Ability to understand building layouts.
- Skills in preparing and reading Construction Drawings.
- FF&E-related skills (selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment).
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Effective communication skills.
- Collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Internship or entry-level experience in interior design is an advantage.
