About the Role
- Location: Washington D.C. Metro Area
- Setting: Acute Care
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating weekends
- Salary: $65,000 - $72,000
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to patients, families, staff, and the community.
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols.
- Contribute to Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice.
- Healthcare experience preferred. New graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
