About the Role
We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support the development of next-generation Electronic Systems at our site in Totowa, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design and analyses, including thermal and structural, using both classical and finite element methods.
- Develop understanding of military standards and high-reliability airborne electronics design.
- Generate/assess designs against environmental requirements and generate prototypes for test and verification efforts.
- Generate/assess 3D solid models, utilize GD&T principles, and perform tolerance analyses to ensure fit and function.
- Communicate essential information and coordinate with other engineering disciplines, Procurement, Operations, and Program Management.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework in thermodynamics, structural analysis.
- Experience with CAD tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work individually and in small team environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on engineering experience.
- Experience with Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing.
- Experience with PTC Creo (formerly Pro/Engineer).
- Experience with ANSYS Mechanical, Icepak, and/or Electronics Desktop for structural or thermal analysis.
- Experience with manufacturing, production, and sustainment of mechanical systems and hardware.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) / Model Based Definition (MBD) / Digital Engineering.

- Must Be Able to Obtain Secret Clearance.
- Travel Percentage: 10%.
