Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Home Developers Group is seeking a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor based in New Delhi.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review bills of quantities (BOQ).
• Estimate project costs and support cost planning throughout all stages of development.
• Monitor project budgets and implement cost control measures.
• Prepare regular cost reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to validate quantities and track variations.
• Ensure financial efficiency and compliance with contractual terms.
• Support tender preparation and evaluate bids.
• Contribute to value engineering initiatives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off for residential and commercial projects.
• Skills in cost planning and cost management to support budgeting and financial optimization.
• Skills in cost control and cost reporting to track expenditures and provide accurate project forecasts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and standard methods of measurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in real estate or construction projects, preferably in high-end residential and commercial developments.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site and manage multiple projects within timelines.
