About the Role

This is a part-time remote role for a Solutions Engineer at JR Talent Solutions. The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with clients to understand business and technical requirements, design appropriate solution architectures, and support implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Participating in discovery calls
• Preparing and delivering product demonstrations
• Creating technical proposals in partnership with sales and consulting teams
• Coordinating integrations between systems
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Documenting solution designs and best practices
• Providing guidance during proof-of-concept initiatives
• Supporting presales activities
• Maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Software Development and Integration skills for designing, configuring, and troubleshooting technical solutions.
• Consulting skills to analyze client needs, translate requirements into solution designs, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Sales and Presales skills to support opportunity qualification, participate in demos, and contribute to proposals and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote, part-time environment.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with common integration patterns, APIs, and cloud-based platforms is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in a solutions engineering, technical consulting, or similar client-facing technical role is a plus.
