About the Role
A Software Engineering Intern will assist the Engineering Team in projects and tasks associated with the development of innovative Nordson EFD products. Interns will work on projects designed to help them gain real-world, hands-on experience working independently under an assigned supervisor. The internship presents the opportunity to work and learn in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Write high level software for automated testing, data handling, GUI creation etc.
- Debug product software using hands-on data-driven root cause analysis of electromechanical systems.
- Develop control algorithms.
- Help document code.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related engineering field.
- Must have completed Sophomore year at start of internship/Co-op.
Skills & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting (Python).
- Exposure to Algorithm development.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Working Conditions: Office and Lab.
Travel: Minimal, estimated 10%.
