About the Role

Ship Southington is an independent packing and shipping company serving customers in the Milldale, CT area. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with packing and shipping services.
• Assist customers with mailbox and virtual mailbox inquiries.
• Help process notary, shredding, print, fax, and scan requests.
• Operate point-of-sale systems.
• Handle cash and card transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized retail environment.
• Greet customers.
• Identify customer service needs.
• Recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all service orders.
• Restock supplies.
• Support basic administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Retail Sales and Sales abilities, including promoting services and closing customer transactions.
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills.
• Solid Product Knowledge of packing, shipping, mailbox, and related services, with willingness to learn new offerings.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move packages.
• Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Reliability.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Prior retail or service industry experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
