About the Role

The Laundry Attendant is a full-time position responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and guest garments are cleaned to high standards and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting laundry by type and fabric.
• Operating washers and dryers according to established procedures.
• Using appropriate detergents and care methods.
• Inspecting items for stains or damage.
• Treating stains.
• Folding and organizing cleaned laundry.
• Preparing items for distribution to guest rooms and resort facilities.
• Maintaining accurate records of laundry volumes.
• Keeping equipment and work areas clean and safe.
• Communicating with the team to meet service timelines and quality expectations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Laundry and Laundry Services skills, including sorting, washing, drying, and handling different fabrics.
• Ability to operate and monitor Dryers and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Effective Communication and Customer Service skills.
• Attention to detail, focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Good physical stamina for repetitive tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading instructions, labeling items, and keeping simple records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel or resort laundry operations is preferred but not mandatory.
