About the Role
Dumroo.ai is hiring a remote QA Intern for a 6-month internship, extendable or convertible to full-time based on performance. The role involves ensuring releases function as intended through manual testing, test automation, and collaboration with developers.
- Location: Remote
- Employment Type: Internship (Full-Time)
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM India Time)
Key Responsibilities
- Write and run test plans and test cases for new features and releases.
- Perform functional, regression, UI, and cross-browser testing on web and mobile.
- Build and maintain automated tests for the UI and APIs.
- Log clear, reproducible bug reports and verify fixes.
- Test AI features for accuracy, consistency, and edge cases.
- Help improve QA processes and release checklists.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Understanding of the software testing lifecycle and types of testing.
- Basic programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Familiarity with a bug tracker such as Jira or GitHub Issues.
- Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- API testing with Postman or similar tools.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
