About the Role
- Understands patient diagnoses by reading documentation.
- Transforms healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes.
- Creates a uniform vocabulary for describing the causes of injury, illness, and death.
- Enables uniform documentation between medical facilities.
- Reviews clinical statements and assigns standard codes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 0 - 1 Year of experience in any Healthcare BPO.
- University degree or equivalent requiring 3+ years of formal studies in Life Science/BPT/Pharm/Nursing.
- Good knowledge in Human Anatomy/Physiology.
- 1+ year(s) of experience using a computer with Windows PC applications (keyboard use, screen navigation, learning new software).
- Ability to work scheduled shifts Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST (shift timings subject to change based on client requirements).
- Flexibility to accommodate overtime and work weekends on a business requirement basis.
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral/written) in English.
