Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering coordination activities for offshore oil & gas projects.
• Act as the focal point between Engineering Manager, Discipline Leads, Clients, and Project Execution teams.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure timely issuance of engineering deliverables as per project schedule.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables across Process, Piping, Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, Safety, and HVAC disciplines.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with project specifications, company procedures, client requirements, and applicable international standards.
• Facilitate engineering review meetings, interdisciplinary reviews, model reviews, and technical workshops.
• Monitor engineering man-hour utilization, productivity, and resource loading.
• Identify engineering risks and implement mitigation measures to avoid delays and quality issues.
• Coordinate technical query resolutions and engineering interface management.
• Review engineering schedules and ensure achievement of milestone dates.
• Manage engineering change requests, deviations, concession requests, and technical clarifications.
• Coordinate vendor document review activities and ensure timely closure of comments.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are issued with required quality checks and approvals.
• Support proposal, estimation, and bid activities from an engineering execution perspective.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, construction, hook-up, commissioning, and startup phases.
• Assist Engineering Manager in achieving engineering performance, quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and support engineering capability development initiatives.
