About the Role
The Junior Full Stack Developer will work on both front-end and back-end features for Superfan.ng’s web and mobile experiences. This is a full-time remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing user interfaces.
- Integrating APIs.
- Maintaining and improving existing code.
- Supporting the development of new product features and gamified quiz flows.
- Collaborating with designers and product team members.
- Troubleshooting bugs.
- Writing clean and testable code.
- Participating in code reviews.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Familiarity in server-side frameworks, APIs, and database integration.
- Skills in Full-Stack Development and general Software Development.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git).
- Debugging practices.
Qualifications
- The ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- The ability to learn new tools and frameworks quickly.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React or Vue) and back-end technologies (such as Node.js or Python) is beneficial.
- Interest in African languages, culture, or edtech products is an advantage.
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams is an advantage.
