Key Responsibilities
- Studying technical specifications and preparing key notes for pre-design.
- Performing studies of existing designs of L&T Howden equipment.
- Performing design calculations required for detail engineering.
- Preparation of Layouts.
- Preparing specifications and customer documents.
- Preparing manuals, which includes instructions for erection, commissioning, operation & maintenance of L&T Howden equipment.
- Compiling sub-supplier manuals as instructed by the Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager.
- Conducting product tests and generating reports as directed.
- Reviewing calculations, detail drawings, customer documents, and sub-contract vendor documents, along with the Lead Engineer.
- Preparation of Basic engineering for equipment.
- Checking of basic and detail designs prepared by designers.
- Selection of bought-out components.
- Preparation and checking of equipment piping.
- Performing 3D modelling and creating 2D design drawings.
- Compiling Bill of Materials.
- Managing drawing modification, design change, SAP requirements, and all other associated drawing functions as instructed by the Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- RAPH design (preferred experience in this area).
