Data Analyst / Entry Level

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support reporting, data analysis, and automation initiatives. In this role, you will use SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and MicroStrategy to automate recurring reports, develop reporting solutions, and resolve data-related issues. You will work closely with business partners to understand reporting requirements, convert manual processes into automated workflows, and deliver reliable analytical data to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Use SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and MicroStrategy to automate recurring reporting deliverables.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and develop reporting solutions and analytical databases.
• Convert manual reports into automated reports using appropriate technical tools and processes.
• Support analytical data requirements and respond to data inquiries from internal and external users.
• Investigate and resolve data issues by developing SQL queries, stored procedures, and programs that interact with SQL databases.
• Perform regular operational tasks to support the team's reporting and analytics activities.
• Manage assigned projects independently while meeting established service-level agreements (SLAs) and turnaround-time (TAT) requirements.
• Apply statistical and data analysis techniques to support reporting accuracy, measurement, and rate analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of intermediate to advanced SQL experience, including writing and understanding complex queries.
• At least 4 years of statistical or data analysis experience, or 3 or more years of HEDIS data analysis experience involving measures and rates.
• 2–4 years of experience generating automated packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• 2–4 years of experience with Power BI or MicroStrategy, including data modeling, DAX, data transformation, and visualization.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data issues and develop practical solutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet established deadlines and service-level requirements.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with business partners and responding to data requests.
