About the Role
The Wireman role at Skylink Technologies is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, connect, and maintain electrical wiring, panels, and cabling systems.
- Route and terminate cables.
- Perform panel wiring.
- Assist in electrical installations.
- Support troubleshooting of basic electrical and electronic issues.
- Inspect work for quality and compliance.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians.
- Maintain tools and work areas in safe condition.
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience in cabling and electrical wiring for industrial or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in panel wiring, including reading and following wiring diagrams or layout plans.
- Basic understanding of electronics relevant to control panels and electrical equipment.
- Ability to read simple electrical schematics and use standard electrical tools and measuring instruments.
- Attention to detail.
- Adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work within a team.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in electrical trade (e.g., ITI or diploma in electrical) preferred.
- Prior experience as a wireman, electrician helper, or similar role will be an added advantage.
