About the Role

The Owner role at Happilo is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Owner is responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing business operations, and ensuring the brand’s growth and profitability in alignment with Happilo’s commitment to healthy snacking.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting business goals
• Supervising key functions such as sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance
• Making decisions on product assortment, pricing, and market expansion
• Building and maintaining partnerships with distributors, retailers, and vendors
• Monitoring performance metrics
• Implementing initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
• Leading organizational development
• Cultivating a strong company culture
• Ensuring compliance with relevant food safety and regulatory standards

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Leadership and people management skills
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams
• Business strategy and planning capabilities
• Experience in setting goals, managing budgets, and driving growth in FMCG or food and beverage sectors
• Operations and supply chain management experience, particularly in manufacturing, quality control, inventory planning, and logistics for consumer goods
• Sales and marketing expertise, including brand positioning, channel development (e-commerce, modern trade, general trade), and consumer engagement in health or gourmet products
• Financial acumen
• Ability to interpret financial statements
• Ability to manage profitability
• Ability to make data-driven investment and resource allocation decisions
• Knowledge of food safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with FSSAI standards and related certifications
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in senior management
