About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Volunteer role based in New Delhi. The Volunteer will support Zomato and Feeding India initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in food distribution drives.
• Coordinating with local partners and community organizations.
• Helping manage logistics for daily meal programs.
• Organizing and packing food supplies.
• Participating in on-ground events.
• Maintaining accurate records of distributions.
• Providing clear communication to beneficiaries and stakeholders.
• Supporting awareness campaigns.
• Gathering feedback from communities.
• Collaborating with team members to improve processes and outreach.
• Following safety protocols.
• Upholding Zomato’s values.
• Contributing positively to a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively on-site in community settings, including participating in physical tasks such as packing, organizing, and distributing food.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage respectfully with diverse communities, partners, and team members.
• Organizational and basic administrative skills for scheduling, record-keeping, and coordinating logistics during drives and events.
• Problem-solving and adaptability skills to respond to changing circumstances and support efficient, safe operations in the field.
• Demonstrated commitment to social impact, community service, or not-for-profit work.
• Prior volunteering experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in New Delhi, with reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative mindset.
• Basic proficiency with smartphones and common digital tools for communication and reporting.
• Familiarity with local languages is a plus.
