About Event Dynamics
Event Dynamics is an event experiences company working across weddings, corporate events, AV productions, and large-scale experiential events. We are building a stronger social presence around the work we create.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who can capture our events as they happen, creatively, quickly, and social-first. This is not simply an iPhone shooting role. You need to understand what is worth showing, what needs to be captured now, and how a moment can become a Story or Reel.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot strong vertical content on iPhone.
- Capture and publish real-time Instagram Stories during events.
- Execute planned scripts, Reel concepts, and shot requirements.
- Capture BTS, details, people, interactions, transformations, and key moments.
- Coordinate with team members to make planned content happen.
- Spot spontaneous social-content opportunities.
- Maintain Event Dynamics' content and brand guidelines.
- Organise and hand over important raw content.
Beyond Event Days
When events aren't happening, you'll also work on team and founder content, executing scripts, planned Reels, shot requirements, and other social-first concepts shared by the content team. This makes the role broader than event coverage: you'll get exposure to event content, BTS, team content, founder content, and planned social concepts.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong iPhone shooting skills and understanding of Stories/Reels.
- Fast, social-first instinct and good visual judgement.
- Comfortable coordinating with people and executing scripts.
- Proactive, able to identify content opportunities without being told every shot.
- Comfortable with basic/quick edits when required for live Stories.
- Reliable, communicative, and willing to travel.
- Based in Pune, with a willingness to travel with the Event Dynamics team to other locations when required.
- The right person thinks: What should become a Story? What could become a Reel? What needs to be captured now?
Editing & Equipment
- Your role: shoot → quickly edit → decide what works for Stories → publish live.
- Central team: full-scale Reels, planned content editing, and post-production.
- For the first 1–2 months, we may work with your existing capable iPhone, after which Event Dynamics will provide a company-owned setup based on actual requirements.
