About the Role
Quanex is seeking an Assembler for the 1st Shift at our Owatonna, Minnesota location. The work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM. This role is responsible for assembling finished window hardware products for shipment to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble metal parts.
- Read orders to verify correct parts.
- Check the quality of components before assembling.
- Record daily individual or work center production quantity.
- Inspect the final assembled part.
- Assemble boxes for final packing of product.
- May assist in machine set-up.
- Assist in training department personnel with operations and procedures.
- May make minor adjustments to machines to keep them in working order.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Hourly Rate: $18.50 per hour
