About the Role

The Commercial Executive – Air & Sea Freight is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for managing commercial activities related to air and sea freight, supporting smooth and reliable shipment operations for freight forwarders and logistics companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing commercial activities related to air and sea freight.
• Preparing and reviewing quotations.
• Coordinating pricing with partners.
• Supporting negotiations with customers and agents.
• Tracking and following up on inquiries, leads, and existing shipments.
• Ensuring timely responses and accurate information.
• Collaborating closely with operations and finance teams.
• Aligning commercial terms.
• Supporting invoicing and payment follow-up.
• Maintaining up-to-date records and reports.
• Handling customer and agent communication.
• Addressing service-related queries.
• Contributing to business development initiatives within the freight forwarding domain.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in structured following up on leads, quotations, and shipments.
• Effective communication abilities for clear, professional interaction with customers, agents, and internal teams.
• Customer service skills focused on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining long-term business relationships.
• Comfort with using ERP systems, CRM tools, and standard office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word, email).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial and commercial management skills.
• Experience in air and sea freight or logistics environments.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding processes, shipment documentation, and basic pricing principles is highly beneficial.
• Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, commerce, business administration, or a related field preferred.
