AI Engineer

About the Role

OptimumAI is seeking Full Stack AI Engineers for a full-time, remote contract of 3-6 months. You will design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI-powered applications, from backend services and APIs to cloud deployment. You will work with Generative AI and LLM-based systems, collaborate with researchers and product teams, and turn experimental ideas into reliable, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and integrate AI / Generative AI features into scalable applications
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python
• Design and implement data pipelines and model deployment workflows
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms
• Test, evaluate, and optimize model and system performance
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clear documentation

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in Python and backend development
• Hands-on experience or projects in AI / Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, etc.)
• Experience designing, building, and integrating REST APIs
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with deployment, Docker, and MLOps practices
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and Git workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field preferred, but equivalent practical experience is welcome

Compensation: ₹12,000-₹18,000 per month
