Data Analyst

About the Role

As an Entry-Level Data Analyst, you will assist with collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business operations and decision-making. You will work with spreadsheets, reports, databases, and other analytical tools to identify trends, maintain data quality, and communicate findings to team members. You will collaborate with colleagues across the organization to help transform raw data into actionable insights that support our business goals and accessible travel mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential business opportunities.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, dashboards, and data summaries.
• Use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to perform basic data analysis.
• Assist in preparing recurring reports and performance metrics.
• Identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate data and help resolve discrepancies.
• Support the team in monitoring business performance and operational metrics.
• Conduct basic research to gather relevant information for analytical projects.
• Present findings and insights in clear, easy-to-understand formats.
• Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, processes, and analytical results.
• Protect confidential information and follow company data management procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to support data-driven business decisions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of data analysis, spreadsheets, and data organization.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and analytical methods.
• Reliable internet access and a suitable workspace for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Basic understanding of statistics and data interpretation.
• Experience with Python or R through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
• Familiarity with dashboards, KPIs, and business reporting.
• Interest in travel, accessibility, customer experience, or mission-driven businesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical skills or relevant coursework may also be considered.
