About the Role
The TikTok Design Team provides first-class user experience for hundreds of millions of users globally, helping them create and express better, discover the diversity and beauty of the world, break down barriers, and build bridges between people. We are an international design team with Product Designers, Creative Designers, Visual Designers, Content Designers, and Localization Experts working together. As a graduate, you will get opportunities to pursue bold ideas, tackle complex challenges, and unlock limitless growth. Successful candidates must be able to commit to an onboarding date by the end of the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Design TikTok’s AI products and tools from concept to launch.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to build a trustworthy, user‑centric AI experience.
- Understand business goals and user needs; drive C‑side design from logic mapping to final implementation.
- Stay current with AI interaction trends and help define design standards for AI products.
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) in daily workflows to boost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications
- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's degree in HCI, AI, Computer Science, Design, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Strong interaction and UI skills.
- Frequent user of AI products with a clear understanding of AI capabilities and interaction paradigms.
- Self-motivated, hands-on, and learning-oriented.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for AI product design, curiosity, and a global perspective.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI product design internship or portfolio/case study.
- Skills in visual, motion, or user research design.
- C‑side product design experience and familiarity with component-based systems.
