About the Role

Crossing Infotech is hiring a WordPress Developer Intern for a full-time remote internship in India. The internship runs for 1 to 3 months with a monthly stipend of INR 14,500 to INR 16,000. Freshers and students are welcome to apply.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain websites and landing pages using WordPress, themes, and page builders such as Elementor.
• Customize themes and layouts using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Install, configure, and update plugins to keep websites secure and running smoothly.
• Make websites responsive for optimal viewing on mobile, tablet, and desktop screens.
• Apply on-page SEO, improve page speed, and set up basic tracking like Google Analytics.
• Update website content, fix bugs, and handle routine website maintenance and backups.
• Create contact forms, blog pages, and basic e-commerce pages using WooCommerce.
• Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of WordPress (pages, posts, themes, plugins, widgets).
• Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Basic understanding of SEO and website performance.
• Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor or Gutenberg.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, or jQuery.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce, hosting, cPanel, and domain setup.
• Basic understanding of Figma or Canva.
• Any WordPress project, portfolio website, course, or certification.

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), BA, BBA, M.Sc, or any related field.
• Freshers interested in building a career in WordPress and web development.
• Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
