About the Role
This position will be responsible for selecting and contracting suppliers in support of spot buy transactions to ensure fair value on the purchase and savings to the client. You will be working as a part of the Procurement management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Selecting and contracting suppliers for spot buy transactions.
- Ensuring fair value on purchases and savings for the client.
- Identification of need.
- Finding and qualifying suppliers.
- Requesting proposals.
- Negotiating with suppliers.
- Contracting.
- Delivery and analyzing results.
- Contract close.
- Meeting service levels as agreed with the client on TAT & Accuracy.
- Ensuring quality of the process is upheld at all times.
- Proposing process improvement ideas and leading improvement projects till closure.
- Ensuring SLAs pertaining to TAT and Quality are maintained.
- Ensuring productivity of the team is achieved on a consistent basis.
- Ensuring all issues and escalations are tracked, monitored & reported.

- PO creation
- Overall P2P practices
- Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ariba
- SAP platform
Qualifications
- Any Graduation or Post-Graduation.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Procurement Operations.
- Minimum of 3-4 Years Work Experience in PO creation and overall P2P practices.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of latest Microsoft Office applications.
- Good understanding of Ariba & SAP platform.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Power Sector Industry preferred.
- Flexibility to work in any shift.
- Flexible to relocate.
