About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Staff role based at Axis Bank Limited’s branch locations in Nagpur.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell the bank’s products and services, including accounts, loans, credit cards, and other retail banking offerings.
• Engage with walk-in customers and conduct outbound calls.
• Follow up on leads.
• Explain product features and benefits.
• Assist customers with application processes and documentation.
• Meet sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
• Coordinate with branch and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Adhere to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Build strong customer relationships.
• Provide high-quality service.
• Proactively identify opportunities to deepen customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain financial products, handle objections, and close deals effectively.
• Basic financial and banking knowledge, including understanding of deposits, loans, and retail banking products.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple customer requests and meet daily targets.
• Proficiency in common office and banking software; comfortable maintaining digital records and reports.
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is beneficial.
• Prior experience in retail banking, financial services, or sales roles is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Nagpur.
• Ability to collaborate with branch team members.
• Ability to uphold Axis Bank’s standards of ethics, compliance, and customer care.
