About the Role
The Cyber Security Intern will assist in identifying security risks, monitoring systems, analyzing vulnerabilities, and supporting basic cybersecurity activities. This role offers practical exposure to security assessment, vulnerability analysis, security monitoring, documentation, and cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and analyzing basic security vulnerabilities
- Support vulnerability assessments and security testing activities
- Monitor security events and assist in identifying potential threats
- Assist in reviewing system and application security configurations
- Research common cybersecurity threats and security best practices
- Support basic security audits and documentation
- Assist in preparing security reports and maintaining records
- Help identify potential risks and suggest basic security improvements
- Collaborate with team members on cybersecurity projects
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Cybersecurity concepts (basic understanding)
- Networking fundamentals (familiarity preferred)
- Security tools and vulnerability assessment (basic knowledge preferred)
- Operating systems and basic command-line concepts
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and information security
- Willingness to learn and work on practical cybersecurity projects
Internship Details
- Duration: 3 Months
- Employment Type: Full-Time Internship
- Stipend: Performance-Based, up to ₹15000/-
